Ingredients
175g Dove Farm Gluten Free Self Raising Flour
175g softened butter or margarine
175g caster sugar
4 medium eggs
Food colouring at least three different colours
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 170.c
Soften the butter
Add the sugar, mix the sugar and butter together
Add the flour and eggs mix the whole mixture. Gluten free flour needs lots of mixing to add air to improve the cakes rise.
Separate the mixture into bowls , mix in food colouring to make a blue, pink and purple batter, keep some batter the original colour.
Spoon the mix a bit at a time into 12 cupcake cases, this is how to make the tie dye effect.
Pop the finished cakes into the oven, check after 25 minutes.
Allow to cool.
If your lucky you might get chance to frost and decorate them, though eaten slightly warm they are yummy!

Attempted Squirrel Walkcycle
Squirrels, squirrel everywhere ....
Nothing is making me feel more ill than the thought of the looming essay I have to write, I spend so much time thinking about why I do the artwork I do, its grown into a one woman existensial crisis.
Who am I?
Why am I so infactuated with drawing pictures of cake! why do I watch so much baking on television? How do I contextualise the notion of britishness, mary berry and excessive food shows on tv?
Food to me, is such a huge part of the human psyche we eat to live, its no surprise that its the one thing any two people can have in common. I started to think if my aim this term is to make a baking video for youtube, what would be my brand , my logo, what one animal , epitamisies that britishness, that bake off, spun onto the masses......avert your eyes ..if you blush easily XD
It helps that the humble squirrel is also my favourite animal, what's not to love about these mischevious tree dwellers?
